TYPE DESIGN / LOGO DESIGN

Etelä-Suomen Sanomat, the leading newspaper in Lahti region, changed their overall design, which was done by Suuntaus Oy. Suuntaus Oy contacted me to help with the logo design.
The new logo is an abbreviation of the whole name, just the letters ESS, that had to work
in large format on the font page as well as in small scale in digital use. The old logo,
a very peculiar design, is used together with the new abbreviation, so I had to
incorporate the same character in the new design.
